Happy New Year!
As 2024 ends and 2025 begins, we look forward to a happier and healthier year than the previous one. It felt like 2024 was turbulent for many of us, to say the least, but here we are in a New Year with new goals! I emphasize goals because New Year Resolutions often fade as quickly as the year begins, while goals provide us with a framework for sustained growth and progress throughout the year.
In this spirit, consider setting intentions that align with your well-being—whether that be through incorporating homeopathic remedies into your health routine or exploring holistic practices that support your overall balance. Each small step can contribute significantly to your mental, emotional, and physical health. Embrace this new journey with a sense of purpose, aiming not just for fleeting resolutions, but for meaningful changes that enhance your life every day.
Let’s make 2025 a year of empowerment, self-discovery, and healing. Together, we can navigate the path toward achieving our goals, fostering resilience, and promoting a holistic approach to health. May this year bring you newfound clarity and the strength to take your healing into your own hands.
My main aim for this year ahead is to get my Homeopathic Qualification complete, it’s so close! I’ve been at this for so long, almost 10 years with two of those being in supervised practice. I’m continuously learning and struggling at time to keep going but it’s my life’s calling and nothing will ever stop me completely. I’m so unbelievebly close that giving up is not an option, let’s just get it done. Getting up at 5am to work on cases and study is now becoming my norm which I can say, I actually quite like. The quiet when everyone else is sleeping and the amount of good work that can produce at this time is quite astonishing. If you’ve got work you need to do and struggle then really do try and have a go at the 5am club, I promise you’ll surprise yourself.
As many people do I tend to have difficulties with my time management, something I really want to get to grips with this year but in this fast paced, super busy life we tend to lead the struggle is real but it’s achievable. I’m just like everyone else, there’s so much to do these days, we work, school runs, after school clubs, studying, family commitments, housework, cooking, food shopping honestly sometimes I feel like there isn’t a minute spare in the day but I do always find time in the morning to be grateful and have started meditating everyday just to keep myself grounded.
In 2025 I’d also like to have more fun times. all work and no play makes for a boring person and that inner child of mine is screaming to come out and play so, for every piece of work I hand in I am going to give myself a little reward for completing it. Yes, just like other people, I am only human, I also procrastinate but if I can give myself a little reward then there’s the incentive to get them in. When the weather turns for the better i’ll be out blowing the cobwebs on my motorbike but in the meantime walks with my little Shih Tzu, Luna Moon in the beautiful welsh countryside and heading back into the gym will be my rewards, where i will fit them in at the moment I just don’t know, hence I need to schedule my life!
Recently, I had an astrology reading with the wonderful Liz Norman and I was completely amazed by it. Not only are we looking forwards to a big change at the end of February which should help things to be less turbulent but she reminded me that my desire for everything to be “perfect” (i’m a Capricorn and like everything perfect and in it’s place) is actually what is holding me back. I end up going off down rabbit holes trying to understand things more deeply but at end up reading and researching things at that time that do not serve me. Her words were “just get it done, it may not be your best piece of work but at least you would have got it done”, and so, for 2025 my mantra is “Just get it done”!
