Gratitude
Christmas is only a few sleeps away and as I sit here in the early hours of the morning, in the quiet whilst everyone in the house is still asleep I take a moment to be grateful for what the last year has given and taught me.
It’s most definitely not been easy and it’s been turbulent for lots of others too, but we made it! Phew!
Every morning I practise being grateful for three things. It’s a great positive way to start the day and can be as simple as…
Today I am grateful for my breath, the one that gives me life and allows my body to function and for me personally to be able to serve others.
I am grateful for my family and friends, who, no matter what, support me through my journey. They are there through it all being my support and guiding light, never giving up on me and always encouraging me forwards even when they are experiencing their own difficulties in life.
The third thing I am grateful for is my homeopathy patients, past, present and the future ones to come, how could I not? This beautiful form of medicine has not only transformed me but also given healing to my patients, some who have had amazing and magical results. It’s not always full healing and it can be a long process depending on lots of different contributing factors but, without my patients I wouldn’t have a practice, so thank you!
I am grateful for the lessons that the universe has had to teach me, some nice and some not so nice. that’s the thing with the universe, it will keep throwing these things at you until you learn the lesson but once it’s learnt you can move on with growth.
Recently, I was lucky enough to have my Natal Chart read, I cried lots during the consultation because it validated my life’s journey, all those ups and downs, joy and hardships. According to the stars, planets the sun and the moon I was meant to be a healer of energetic medicine, that’s exactly where m path has brought me to. So right now, i’m super grateful to Liz who did my reading for me. There’s nothing better than knowing you’re on the right path, the one destined for you.
Finally, I would like to give special thanks to all of my teachers at the School of Homeopathy but especially my supervisor Em Colley. She is an amazing lady and an even more amazing Homeopath. She is there for me no matter what with her guiding words and big smile encouraging me on - she lights me up! Em has written an amazing book “The Joy of Homeopathy” which is a great read for Homeopaths but also for anyone interested in Homeopathy and what it’s all about. I really wish she had written this book when I had started my training but, to all the new student homeopaths out there, I highly recommend this book to you available on her website www.emmacolley.co.uk.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.
Love and light
Em xx
